摘　　要：Ascomata of three species of coronophoraceous fungi collected from the Big Thicket National Preserve and an area immediately adjacent to the preserve were examined with a scanning electron microscope to reveal the distinctive features of the ascomatal surface.Based on the results of the examination,two new species(Neochaetosphaerella thaxteriospora and Tympanopsis texensis)are herein described and discussed.Both a description and an illustration of Scortechinia acanthostroma are also provided.
