基于HRTEM的炭黑芳香晶格条纹结构特性研究

摘  要:为了深入开展碳质材料芳香结构相关的微观化学特性研究,掌握碳质材料化学生产与转化机理,基于高分辨率透射电镜技术(HRTEM)提出微晶结构定量分析方法,从4种来源不同的炭黑样品的HRTEM图像取芳香晶格条纹,并定量表征晶格条纹的长度、角度、曲率以及堆垛等特征参数。研究结果表明:同一样品不同区域、不同样品之间的微晶结构分布规律相似;随条纹长度递增,晶格条纹数量减少,短条纹居多;晶格角度、曲率分布分散;堆垛以单层为主,随堆垛层数递增,堆垛的数量减少;同一样品不同区域在同一条纹长度、角度及曲率范围内分布的晶格条纹数相差1%以内,微晶结构差异较小,不同样品之间相差可达5%以上,差异较为显著。所提的HRTEM微晶结构定量分析方法能够得到炭黑芳香晶格条纹微观结构分布特征,适用于包含多环芳香苯环结构的多种碳质材料,可为分子模型构建研究提供数据来源,对进一步认识碳质材料微晶结构特征及多环芳香结构演化有潜在的应用价值。This paper proposes a method for quantitative analysis of the microcrystalline structure based on HRTEM to carry out in-depth research on the microchemical properties related to the aromatic structure of carbonaceous materials and to grasp the chemical production and transformation mechanism of carbonaceous materials.In this paper,aromatic lattice fringes are taken from HRTEM images of four carbon black samples from different sources and the characteristic parameters such as length,angle,curvature and stacking of aromatic lattice fringes are quantitatively characterized.The results show that the distribution patterns of microcrystalline structure are similar in different regions of the same sample and among different samples.The number of lattice fringes decreased with the increase of fringes length,with short fringes in the majority;angle and curvature distributions were scattered,stacking was mainly single-layer,and the number of stackings decreased with the increase of the number of stacking layers.The difference in the number of lattice fringes distributed in the same ranges of fringes length,angle and curvature in different areas of the same sample is less than 1%;the difference in microcrystalline structure is small,while the difference between different samples can be more significant,greater than 5%.With the quantitative analysis method based on HRTEM images proposed in the present study,the microstructure distribution characteristics of soot aromatic lattice fringes can be obtained.This method applies to a variety of carbonaceous materials with a polycyclic aromatic benzene ring structure,can provide a source of data for the study on molecular model construction,and has potential application value for further understanding the microcrystalline structural features of carbonaceous materials and the evolution of polycyclic aromatic structures.
