摘　　要：以概率论中一维连续型随机变量的概率密度为研究对象,从物理、数理、几何、测度多个角度揭示了概率密度概念的由来和意涵,可望彻底解决读者疑虑,达到正本清源的效果.The origin and the meaning of the probability density is discussed from the perspectives of physics,mathematics,geometry and measure in order to eliminate some doubts and achieve a better understanding of the concept.
