摘  要:中文语境下的“课程思政”内涵颇丰,在英文语境下如何较为准确、完整地再现其内涵,实非易事。目前,作为术语的“课程思政”英文译名五花八门,而与其相关的研究寥寥无几。爬梳甄选现有高频英文译名,对英语国家人士进行问卷调查,搜集其识解反馈,并结合与英国汉学家访谈及语料库检索结果等进行考察,可以发现:现有英文译名有失适切,存在“名不及实”,甚至“名误其实”,不利于中国高等教育在国际场域的形象建构。必须高度重视“课程思政”英文译名对其内涵在目标语语境下的再现,才能尽可能“名副其实”地讲好中国高校课程思政育人故事,传播好中国高等教育立德树人的声音。With a rich connotation in Chinese context,the term“Ke Cheng Si Zheng”faces difficulties in translation. It is obviously not easy to render it in an accurate and comprehensive way in English. In this paper,a questionnaire survey with English-speaking people was conducted to collect feedback on their understanding towards each of the twelve existing high-frequency English translations of“Ke Cheng Si Zheng”. Together with the insights from an interview with Don Starr,a British sinologist and corpus-based statistics from BNC and COCA,it has found that some of the existing translations are far from conveying the nature of “Ke Cheng Si Zheng”while some are even negatively misleading. Thus great importance must be attached to the term’s appropriate translation andreproduction of its connotation in the target context,so as to tell China’s stories well regarding the development of‘core values throughout the curriculum’in China’s higher education.
