摘　　要：本文以“新维多利亚小说”作为研究对象,以20世纪末兴起的“维多利亚时代热”及“新维多利亚主义”为切入点,对新维多利亚小说形成与发展的历史、文化语境进行分析,探究其当下文化意义。在此基础上,围绕有关新维多利亚小说的界定和分类展开讨论,以不同分支的新维多利亚小说为节点,分别聚焦于“后殖民新维多利亚小说”“女性主义新维多利亚小说”以及“新维多利亚传记小说”与生命书写等不同类型文本的主题建构与叙事策略,以期对新维多利亚小说的历史想象与言说模式进行整体论述。The current thesis intends to give a critical review on the definition,classification and significance of Neo-Victorian Fiction under the background of Victorian revivalism which emerged in the 1980s and 1990s.By examining the thematic concern and narrative strategy of such subgenres as Post-Colonial Neo-Victorian Fiction,Feminist Neo-Victorian Fiction and Neo-Victorian Biofiction,this thesis provides an overall investigation of the mode of postmodern historical interpretation and imagination,and the way in which Neo-Victorian Fiction connects past and present.
