摘　　要：教育是中华民族共同体建设的基础事业,加快推进国家通用语言文字教育是民族地区构建高质量教育体系、促进民族地区教育高质量发展的基本前提。回顾了我国民族地区国家通用语言文字教育的历史演进,以及党的十八大以来党和国家关于民族地区加快推广普及国家通用语言文字工作的政策与实践;系统梳理了习近平总书记关于推广普及国家通用语言文字、提高民族地区教育质量的重要论述,阐述了民族地区加强国家通用语言文字教育的战略意义;从构建民族地区高水平教育体系,促进民族地区教育高质量发展,铸牢中华民族共同体意识的总体要求出发,提出了民族地区加快推广和普及国家通用语言文字教育、促进民族地区教育高质量发展的路径。Education is the foundational cause of Chinese national community construction, and speeding up the development of national common language education is a basic precondition of building high-quality educational system and strengthening high-quality education development in ethnic minority areas.This paper reviews the history and changes of national common language education in these areas, in particular, discusses the government policies and practice on speeding up the national common language education in these areas since the 18 th CPC National Congress.Based on the literature about General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important ideas of strengthening and improving the work of ethnic minority areas, this paper analyzes the related key views of universalizing national common language and improving the educational quality in these areas, furthermore, emphasizes the strategical significance of strengthening national common language education in these areas.Considering from the overall requirements of constructing a high-level educational system in these areas, promoting the high-quality development of education in these areas, and forging the sense of community of Chinese nation, this paper also puts forward the path of accelerating the universalization of national common language education, and promoting high-quality development of education in ethnic minority areas.
