摘　　要：Mongolian characters and Mongolian literature provide fertile soil for the formation and development of Mongolian calligraphy while the calligraphy could be the form of expression for characters and literature.'The paper discusses the relationship between literature and calligraphy macroscopically and clarifies their relationship from the perspective of characters.It also dis-cusses the formation of Mongolian calligraphy,historical process of co-evolution of Mongolian literature and calligraphy,and their historical process of forming separate art forms.
