中国小说评点在日本的传播——以《虞初新志》和《日本虞初新志》为例

摘  要:评点是中国古代一种特殊的文学批评方式,在江户时代随着明清小说一起传播至日本,日本作家在对明清小说进行接受的同时,也吸收了中国古代小说评点形式。日本现存的汉文小说评点在借鉴明清小说评点的基础上,又呈现出新的特点。以《虞初新志》和《日本虞初新志》为例,后者的评点虽在形式和内容上因袭前者,但受创作风气和作家教师身份的影响,《日本虞初新志》的评点不像《虞初新志》在意文学审美,而更关注小说劝恶惩善的功用,重视小说的道德教化功能,是儒学家教育世人的工具。Criticism is a special way of literary criticism in ancient China.It spread to Japan along with the novels of the Ming and Qing Dynasties during the Edo period.While Japanese writers accepted the novels of the Ming and Qing Dynasties,they also absorbed the criticism form of ancient Chinese novels.On the basis of drawing lessons from the criticism of novels in the Ming and Qing Dynasties,the existing Chinese novel criticism in Japan presents new characteristics.This paper takes Yu Chu Short Stories and Yu Chu Short Stories in Japan as examples for comparison.It finds that although the latter′s criticism follows the former in terms of form and content,they are influenced by the creative atmosphere and the status of writers and teachers.The criticism of Yu Chu Short Stories in Japan does not care about literary aesthetics like the criticism of Yu Chu Short Stories,but pays more attention to the function of novels in punishing evil and promoting good and attaches importance to the moral education function of novels,which is the tool for Confucianists to educate people.
