摘　　要：马克思在《资本论》中大量引用英国的《公共卫生报告》,从公共卫生视角剖析资本主义制度下无产阶级的贫困、疾病与生命健康状况,并给予英国公共卫生医师群体以高度的评价,称赞他们“内行、公正、坚决”。在全球防控新冠肺炎疫情背景下,为有效应对公共卫生危机,需要参照马克思对英国公共卫生医师的评价,提升公共卫生人才职业素养与精神品质,重视基层公共卫生人才队伍建设,推进公共卫生事业与公共卫生教育改革发展。Marx quoted a great number of British public health reports in Capital so as to explore the proletari-ans’poverty,disease,life and health status in capitalist system from the perspective of public health,and gave British public health physicians high evaluation and praised the physicians for their“competent,free from parti-sanship and respect of persons”.During the global Covid-19 epidemic,we need to refer to Marx’s high evaluation of British public health physicians,improve the professional competency and spirits of public health workers,pay special attention to the construction of local public health workforce and promote the reform and development of public health and public health education in order to cope effectively with the crises of public health.
