摘　　要：美国华裔作家汤亭亭的《中国佬》,是其又一部再现美籍华裔在美拼搏奋斗的长篇小说。在作品中汤亭亭用高超的创作技巧,通过回忆、记叙和评论方式进行叙事,同时,通过心理描写形式来突破时空的束缚,从而赋予其作品一种超越民族与国界的深厚文化与思想内涵。作家汤亭亭尝试从文化、性别和历史这三个层面之间游走,进而展现其与众不同的叙事方式,对探讨作品的内涵和意义有着十分重要的作用。China Men,written by Chinese American writer Maxine Hong Kingston,is her another novel that reproduces the struggle of Chinese Americans in the United States.In her works,Maxine Hong Kingston uses her superb creative skills to narrate through memories,narration and comments.At the same time,she breaks through the constraints of time and space by the means of psychological description,so as to endow her works with a profound cultural and ideological connotation beyond nationalities and national boundaries.The writer tries to wander among the three levels of culture,gender and history,and then show her unique narrative way,which plays a very important role in exploring the connotation and significance of her works.
