摘　　要：森林服务管理是融合了生态效益、社会效益、经济效益的管理科学。目标是环境可持续发展、创造社会生产力和服务公众利益,以满足现在和未来人类对环境的需求。美国林务局作为美国森林服务管理的责任机构,其管理水平一直处于世界领先地位。文中从美国林务局历史演变、机构设置、管理模式、服务领域和战略规划等方面对美国森林服务管理模式进行概括和梳理;分析其管理模式的优越性和先进性;提出对完善我国森林服务管理的启示:加大科技投入,健全政策法规,发挥森林多功能效益。Forest service management is a management science that integrates ecological benefits,social benefits and economic benefits,and its goal is to achieve sustainable environmental development,create social productivity and serve the public benefit,so as to meet the environmental needs of present and future generations.As the organization responsible for forest service management in the United States,the US Forest Service is proud of its world leading management level.This paper reviews and summarizes the forest service management model in the United States from the aspects of historical evolution,institutional setup,management mode,fields of service and strategic planning,and analyzes its superiority and advancement.This paper aims at providing reference for forest services management in China.China could learn from the US experience to improve the forest service management,i.e.,increasing inputs to science and technology,improving policies and regulations and giving play to the multiple functions and benefits of forest.
