摘　　要：运用2001—2013年中国工业企业和海关贸易数据库合并数据,以中国-东盟自由贸易区为外生冲击事件,实证分析贸易政策不确定性下降对企业出口产品质量的影响。结果显示,中国-东盟自由贸易协定(FTA)引致的贸易政策不确定性下降显著提升了企业出口产品质量,对非核心产品出口质量的促进作用较大。机制检验结果表明,贸易政策不确定性下降通过加剧市场竞争,倒逼企业出口产品质量提升。异质性分析显示,贸易政策不确定性对出口产品质量的影响与企业生产率、国家类别等因素有关。此外,研究还显示贸易政策不确定性下降降低了出口价格,使得中国出口产品具有“物美价廉”效应。using the data merged by China’s industrial enterprises and customs trade database from 2001 to 2013,this paper empirically studies the impact of the reduction of trade policy uncertainty caused by free trade agreements on the quality of export products,taking the free trade agreements concluded by China as exogenous shocks.The results show that the reduction of trade policy uncertainty significantly improves the quality of export products.By comparing core products with non-core products,we find that the reduction of trade policy uncertainty has a greater impact on the export quality of non-core products than that of core products.The results of mediating effect test show that the reduction of trade policy uncertainty forces enterprises to improve export quality through intensifying market competition.Heterogeneity analysis shows that the impact of trade policy uncertainty on the quality of export products is related to enterprise productivity and national income.Furthermore,we also study how the reduction of trade policy uncertainty affects product prices.The results show that the reduction of trade policy uncertainty reduces the export price and makes China’s export products have the effect of"high quality and low price".
