摘　　要：布什报告即《科学:没有止境的前沿》,发表之初,中国科学家对其进行了广泛的介绍与解读,并结合报告思考了中国科学发展的问题。在《发展应用科学十年计划》中,中国科学家试图用布什报告的理念去组织中国的科学研究与科学教育。由于布什报告的影响,中国科学界用“基础研究”这一概念取代了长期使用的“纯粹科学”。When Science-The Endless Frontier was first published, it was introduced into China and interpreted by some Chinese scientists.In the Ten-Year Plan for Developing Applied Science, Chinese scientists attempted to use Bush’s ideas to organize scientific research and science education in China. As a result of the influence of the report, the Chinese scientific community replaced the long-used term “pure science” with the term “basic research”.
