Based on the micro data of China Family Panel Studies(CFPS),this paper systematically studies the influence of intergenerational care on the labor supply of married couples under the Comprehensive Two Child Policy, and empirically analyzes the influence mechanism of the intergenerational care on the market employment participation rate and working hours of married couples by using Logit and regression models. The results show that:intergenerational care can significantly reduce the constraints of parenting responsibility on married couples'intention to be employed, and raise their employment participation rates and working hours;intergenerational care has a more significant impact on married women, and significantly improves and enhances their employment activities;the transition of urban families with intergenerational care is more prominent, from the traditional family division of labor that is"male dominated, female dominated"to the dual-earner family mode, and more women are employed in the labor market;and except for the age group over 50,the younger the age,the greater the increase in labor supply of married couples when grandparents are primary child caregivers.
