治教思高远 清言宣至理——敬谈知行合一教育家周远清

摘  要:作为当代知行合一的教育家,周远清自20世纪90年代担任国家教育行政机关领导和中国高等教育学会会长以来,夙夜在公,悟道行道,躬耕不怠,为我国高等教育大改革、大发展和大提高作出了杰出贡献。作为时代风云变幻中的“播火者”和高等教育教学改革的领航者、举旗者,周远清可赞可歌的闪光点有很多:提出“教学改革是核心”,教学是学校工作的“主旋律”理念,并矢志不渝地坚守;为确保教学质量不滑坡并持续提高,提示必须防止和克服“四个投入不足”,振聋发聩;创发教学质量合格评价,开启中国特色现代教育质量评价帷幕;亲力亲为,主导教育实践创新与理论创新并举;等等。As a contemporary educator who integrates knowledge with practice,Zhou Yuanqing has been the leader of the national education administration and the president of the China Association of Higher Education since 1990s.He has been dedicating himself to public service,attaining enlightenment and sparing no efforts in work,thus making outstanding contributions to the great reform,development and improvement of China’s higher education.As the“fire spreader”in the changing times and the leader and flag bearer of higher education teaching reform,Zhou Yuanqing has many shining points that can be praised and sung:he puts forward the idea that“teaching reform is the core”and teaching is the“main melody”of school work,and he has been sticking to the idea unswervingly.In order to ensure that the teaching quality would not decline and continue to improve,he suggests that“four insufficient inputs”must be prevented and overcome,which would arouse strong reactions.He also creates qualified evaluation of teaching quality and opens the curtain of modern education quality evaluation with Chinese characteristics,and personally leads the educational practice and theoretical innovation simultaneously.
