摘　　要：从1820年代至今,加拿大英语诗歌走过了差不多两百年的历史。以民族想象的流变为主线来追溯与总结加拿大诗歌史,分析其间最具影响力的诗歌流派与最具代表性的诗歌作品,能够比较全面地概括加拿大诗歌从殖民主义到民族主义再到多元文化主义的发展路径。在诗歌的传承与更新过程中,民族想象随着历史语境的变迁而呈现不同的时代解读,这又折射出加拿大不同于英美的文化心理特征。因此,通过民族想象的棱镜,既可管窥两个世纪以来加拿大英语诗歌的大致全貌,亦能审视其独有的民族心理特质与北国自然地理风貌。Canadian poetry over the last two centuries develops a historical path stretching from colonialism to nationalism to multiculturalism. This path can be seen clearly through the perspective of the national imagination by analyzing important works and poetic movements through each ideological change. In both times of continuity and moments of revolution, the national imagination evolves and reveals different interpretations in different historical and cultural contexts, which in turn reflects the Canadian national identity. Through the lens of national imagination, we can not only gain an overall glimpse of English Canadian poetry over the last two centuries, but an understanding of the distinct national psychological paradigm of Canada.
