摘　　要：本文以袁同礼和费正清共同撰写的《中美文化关系备忘录》为研究对象,剖析此份重要文件的撰写起因,详述备忘录的原则和内容,列举美国政府、学术机构和团体、私人基金会、美国图书馆协会的反馈和措施,分析该份备忘录对“二战”结束后美国形成自身特色汉学研究的推动作用。This article focuses on the study of the Memo Sino-American Intellectual Relations co-written by Yuan Tongli and John K. Fairbank. It analyzes the principles and contents of this important work and lists the feedback and measures done by the American government, academic institutions and groups, private foundations and the American Library Association. Furthermore, there is an analysis of the role of this Memo on Chinese studies in the United States after the end of the Second World War.
