少数民族题材电影字幕翻译研究——以《唐卡》为例

摘　　要：本文以藏语电影《唐卡》为例,通过对比影片的藏语对白、汉语字幕和英语字幕发现,该片的英语字幕直接译自汉语而非藏语。因此,本文以“汉语重过程,英语重结果”汉英语用差异原则为理论基础,对影片英语字幕进行分类考察。结果表明,该片英语字幕不仅存在语法错误以及无法与画面对应的问题,还存在不少语用失误。笔者认为,当前少数民族题材电影字幕英译质量低下,原因在于制片方不够重视翻译;要提高质量,必须在宏观层面落实好国家的相关政策,微观层面组织好高质量的翻译和译后审校团队。The comparison of the Tibetan dialogues with Chinese and English subtitles in Thangka shows that the English subtitles are equivalences of Chinese ones rather than Tibetan ones.Except that some of them are ungrammatical and mismatched,some others are pragmatically inappropriate according to the difference between English and Chinese:English is a result-oriented language while Chinese a process-oriented one.Reasonably,the poor quality of English subtitles is attributed to the low-quality of translation and post-editing teams because of the producer s inadequate respect for translation and ignorance of favourable state policies.
