摘 要:聚苯硫醚(PPS)因性能优异和性价比优势有望开发为热防护织物,但在其燃烧过程中,因为剧烈的热降解反应导致交联炭化效率低,故炭层疏松,从而引起热释放和烟释放高,限制其在相关领域的应用发展。针对上述问题,采用双螺杆挤出机以熔融共混的方法引入Fe_(2)O_(3)纳米粒子,研究其对PPS基体燃烧行为和炭层结构的影响,为热防护织物的开发奠定基础。结果表明:Fe_(2)O_(3)纳米颗粒能够较好分散于PPS基体中;Fe_(2)O_(3)的引入显著改善了PPS的燃烧热释放和烟释放性能,其机制在于Fe_(2)O_(3)促进了炭层结构向致密态和高石墨化转变。Polyphenylene sulfide(PPS)is expected to be developed as a thermal protective fabric due to its excellent performance and cost-effective advantages.However,in the combustion process,due to the intense thermal degradation reaction,the crosslinking carbonization efficiency is low,so the carbon layer is loose,resulting in high heat release and smoke release,which limits its application in related fields.In order to solve the above problems,Fe_(2)O_(3)nanoparticles were introduced into the PPS matrix by melt blending with a twin-screw extruder.The effects of Fe_(2)O_(3)nanoparticles on the combustion behavior of PPS matrix and the structure of carbon layer were studied,which laid a foundation for the development of thermal protective fabrics.The results show that Fe_(2)O_(3)nanoparticles can be well dispersed in PPS matrix.The introduction of Fe_(2)O_(3)significantly improved the heat release and smoke release properties of PPS,and the mechanism is that Fe_(2)O_(3)promotes the transformation of carbon layer structure to dense state and high graphitization.
