摘 要:部分中国中年女性携带丝巾出游,是较为独特的游客行为。文章基于旅游研究的“表演转向”,在对自我相关理论进行综述的基础之上,探讨中年女性携带丝巾出游所呈现的自我类型。通过对37位受访者的叙事进行归纳和分类,采用定性研究,提出该部分游客群体的4种自我类型,即物质自我呈现者、游伴关系珍视者、理想自我实现者和纯粹自我表达者。研究发现,携带丝巾呈现了中年女性多元化的自我类型,体现了该游客群体注重身心感受和面向“游伴”印象管理的特征;丝巾在游伴之间互动的媒介性特征,使得携带丝巾成为较为普遍的中年女性游客行为;最后,研究围绕该部分游客群体的自我类型,提出管理和营销启示,并提出了未来对其自我形成过程进行历时性研究的设想。The items carried by tourists while traveling play a significant role for the self-presentation of specific tourism groups.It is well known that Chinese middle-aged female tourists like to travel with silk scarves.They are often labeled as“Dama”.They use silk scarves as decorations and are keen to take pictures in various exaggerated poses.Their behavior is not generally understood and accepted,even has received some negative comments.However,traveling with silk scarves is still popular among“Dama”.Taking the“performance turn”perspective,this paper first reviews self-related theories,such as self-type and self-development,symbolic interaction and self-presentation,then explores and discusses the self-type presented by middle-aged women traveling with silk scarves.Qualitative research method was adopted in data collection and analysis.By summarizing and classifying the narratives of 37 interviewees,four self-types was proposed to represent this special group of tourists,namely material self-presenters(including body self-protectors and wealth self-presenters),travel companion relationship cherishers,ideal self-actualizers and pure self-expressors.In the context of tourism,middle-aged women present themselves with the help of silk scarves,trying to achieve the goals of focusing more on their own feelings and obtaining their own identity.Tourists are not completely“performers”,but may also be the intuitive presentation of“I”.The findings of the study demonstrate that:(1)Middle-aged female tourists who carry silk scarves present diversified self-types,which reflects the fact that tourists pay more attention to physical and mental feelings and try to manage their impressions among“travel companions”.Physical self-protectors focus on the protective effect of silk scarves on the body,while pure self-expressers focus on inner feelings.These two types of self-presentation are difficult to classify as“impression management”behavioral strategies to gain his or her identity.Wealth self-presenters,
