摘　　要：地图作为地理学第二语言,能够将地理事物及现象直观地表现出来。艺术性是与科学(数学)性、政治性并列的地图评价标准之一,在地图设计、传播和使用过程中具有不可替代的作用,但因其具有隐性特点而易被忽视。针对地图美学问题的研究,从地图美学的本质特征、形态形式、艺术设计以及审美风格、应用等方面进行相关文献分类梳理,以此探究地图美学进程。Map is the second language of geography,which can intuitively express geographical things and phenomena.Artistry is one of the evaluation criteria of maps,which is parallel with science(mathematics)and politics.It plays an irreplaceable role in map design,dissemination and use.But it’s easy to be ignored because of its concealment characteristics.In view of the research on map aesthetics,this overview classifies and sorts out relevant literature from the aspects of the essential characteristics,forms,artistic design,aesthetic style and application of map aesthetics,so as to explore the process of map aesthetics.
