数字经济发展是否促进了中国区域经济增长收敛?

摘　　要：本研究基于收敛分析框架,就数字经济发展是否促进了区域经济增长收敛进行实证分析。为避免传统经济数据中可能存在的失真问题,采用了卫星灯光数据来测度地区经济状况。全部样本的分析结果显示,中国城市经济表现出增长收敛特征,数字经济在此过程中发挥了显著促进作用;分地区样本的分析结果显示,中西部城市表现出经济增长收敛现象,且在相对落后的西部地区,数字经济所发挥的促进作用更为显著;机制分析结果表明,数字经济通过推动技术进步进而促进了经济增长收敛,且这种机制效应在后发地区表现得更为显著。From the perspective of economic convergence,this study examines whether digital economy contributes to coordinated regional development in China.To avoid the possible distortion in economic data,this study uses satellite light data to measure regional economic growth.The results based on whole samples indicate that China’s urban economy exhibits economic convergence,and digital economy has played a significant role in promoting this process.The results based on sub-samples find economic convergence in the central and western cities,and in the relatively backward western regions,the contribution of digital economy is more significant.Mechanism analysis shows that digital economy not only promotes regional technological progress,but also plays a more significant role in less developed regions.
