摘　　要：[innovation management in language teaching]This is a new area of study in applied linguistics which draws heavily on models and theories from education.It is important that innovation(which here refers to planned change within a language teaching system)should he understood and well managed to ensure its implementation and continuation.This should lead to more appropriate and productive use of human,financial and material resources.
