摘　　要：《新娘来到黄天镇》创作于1898年,故事情节引人入胜,情节高潮之处戛然而止,引人深思。该小说中情节发展以杰克·波特的婚姻对黄天镇的影响为主线,凸显自然主义的主题。然而,笔者发现,在其情节发展背后,还存在一个与之相互补充的“隐性叙事进程”,即男权主义。这两者在相互补充的过程中,表达出更深刻的主题意义,塑造出更丰满的人物形象,引发读者做出复杂的反应。The Bride Comes to Yellow Sky, written in 1898, has a fascinating storyline that ends abruptly at its climax and is thought-provoking. The plot development of the novel focuses on the influence of Jack Potter’s marriage on Yellow Sky, highlighting the theme of naturalism. However, the author finds that behind the development of its plot,there is also a parallel covert progression, namely patriarchy. In the process of complementing each other, the two express deeper thematic meanings, create a fuller character image, and cause readers to make complex reactions.
