With the development of 16 SrRNA sequencing technology and macrogenomics, microbial colonization has been confirmed in the normal uterine cavity. However, due to the limitation of uterine cavity sampling and different sampling methods,a consistent "healthy" or "core" uterine microbiota has not been determined at present.Similar to the intestinal tract, the largest microbial colonization organ in the human body, the specific components of microorganisms in uterine cavity are recognized by pattern recognition receptors(PRRs) on the surface of immune cells, especially Toll-like receptors(TLRs).They dynamically regulate the differentiation of immune cells,to maintain the immune balance in uterine cavity. They play an important role in maintaining the steady state of flora, regulating the immune microenvironment and maintaining appropriate pregnancy immunity. This paper summarizes the types of microorganisms and immune cells in the uterine cavity, and the mutual regulation between the two,in order to provide a new idea for exploring the microbial factors in the etiology of genital related diseases and abnormal pregnancy.
