Objective: To explore the value of continuous nursing on the prevention of scar hyperplasia in burn patients. Methods:A total of 120 burn patients admitted to Changde First People’s Hospital from September 2019 to April 2021 were selected and divided into an experimental group and a control group according to the order of treatment, with 60 cases in each. The control group was given routine nursing, and the experimental group was given continuous nursing. The scar hyperplasia and the incidence of scar hyperplasia were analyzed in the two groups of patients. Results: After nursing, the Vancouver Scar Scale score in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). The rate of scar hyperplasia in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: Continuous nursing care for burn patients can promote skin recovery, improve patients’ quality of life, and reduce the incidence of scarring, and can be widely used in clinical practice.
