民族志视角下的《经行记》研究

摘　　要：唐代人杜环根据自己在中亚、西亚、北非等地区的游历见闻撰成《经行记》。该书虽已散佚,但其现存部分实为以唐代西域及中亚地区多民族社会与多元文化为主的民族志文献。前人关于《经行记》的研究多集中在名物、史地、行程线路等方面,对书中民族志材料及作者的文化认知关注较少。《经行记》不仅呈现出作者杜环在汉文化背景下对域外族群与宗教文化的整体性认识,而且反映了中亚、西亚、北非等地区的人们生活与习俗的多元化特征。《经行记》的民族志内容由整体认知观念与地方性知识构成,它们较为完整地展现了中古时期汉文化关于域外社会的知识体系及其文化认同意识。Du Huan of the Tang Dynasty wrote the book Jing Xing Ji based on his personal experience of traveling through Central Asia,West Asia and North Africa.Although the book has been lost,its extant parts are ethnographic documents mainly about the multi-ethnic society and multi-culture in the Western regions and Central Asia in the Tang Dynasty.The previous studies on Jing Xing Ji mostly focused on the specific items,historical geography,Du Huan’s itinerary and other aspects,and paid little attention to the ethnographic materials in the book and the author’s cultural cognition.Jing Xing Ji not only presents the author Du Huan’s overall understanding of ethnic groups and religious cultures outside the region under the background of Han culture,but also reflects the diversified characteristics of people’s life and customs in different regions of Central Asia,West Asia and North Africa.The ethnographic content of Jing Xing Ji is composed of the overall cognitive concept and local knowledge,which shows the knowledge system of the Han culture in the Tang Dynasty about the extraterritorial society as well as the cultural identity consciousness of Han culture.
