摘　　要：“科学种族主义”源于大西洋知识共同体对人类起源与人种演变问题的研究。他们根据自然史的物种分类方法,按照不同人种的生物属性与社会属性划分人类族群。这种理论伴随着“种族”概念的建构,反映了欧洲大国推行殖民统治的政治需求。18世纪启蒙时代的欧洲学术界对人类族群分类问题的思考,推动了以肤色评判种族优劣的种族主义取向在科学研究中的发展,代表性理论就是布丰的“退化论”,它标志着“科学种族主义”的初步形成。Along with the formation of racial idea in the early modern Atlantic world,scientific racism originated from studies of human origin and evolution by scholars in the Atlantic intellectual community.According to the classificational system established by natural historians,it created a special racial order for various human species by their physical and cultural characters.Accordingly,scientific racism provided a logical possibility for the colonial expansion of the European powers.
