摘　　要：Interdisciplinary integration is a distinctive feature of scientific development and provides major innovation opportunities.Supporting interdisciplinary research is not only an important mission of funding agencies but also the focus and priority of the scientific and technol-ogy field.Upon the first issue of“Interdisciplinary Materials,”this paper proposes some thoughts on inter-disciplinary research,for discussion with peers in the same field.
