摘　　要：直颚树螱Glyptotermes orthognathus Ping et Chen,兵(尉虫)(图1)体小型。头黄褐色,额面稍淡,上颚紫褐色,上唇、触角淡黄褐色,前胸背板和腹部淡黄白色,足腿节、胫节同腹部,跗节黄色。In the present paper,four new species of the Genus Glyptotermes from Sichuan Province,their comparisions with close species are given as the following.All measurements are in millimeter.All the type specimens arc kept in Guangdong Entomological Institute.1.Glyptotermes orthognathus Ping et Chen,sp.nov.The soldier of this new species is one of the smaller termites of this genus.It is closely related to G,parvus Fan et Xia in its smaller size.But can be easily be differentiated as follows:1.Tip of mandible is slender and rather straight instead of relatively curved.2.Frons gradually sloping instead of frons steeply sloping.Type locality:Da Xian County(31°N,107°E).Soldiers(holotype and paratype)and nymphs from type scries(I No.E7214),Collected by Chen Mang,Chen Jiming and Zhang Changquan,Jul.26,1982 in living tree(Ficus lacor).2.Glyptotermes jinyunensis Chen et Ping,sp.nov.This soldier of new species is similar to that of G.parvus Fan et Xia,in the body size and frons slope angle.But can be distinguished by following characters.1.Mean width of pronotum 1.08 instead of 0.99,pronotum distinctly broader than head,pronotum/head index 1.09 instead of pronotum slightly broader than head,pronotum/head index 1.01.2.Anterior margin of pronotum with a shallow V-shaped concave instead of deeply.3.Postmen-tum broadest placed approximately in middle instead of placed in anteriorone-third.4.Posterior margin of postmentum arched out instead of not arched out.Type locality:Jinyun Mt.(800m.)of Chongqing City.Soldiers(holoty-pc and paratypes)and nymphs from type series(I No.E 7032).Collected by Chen Mang and He Maoye,May 14,1980 in living tree.3.Glyptotermes bimaculifrons Ping et Liu,sp.nov.The soldier of the new species has a near precipitous frons,with a distinct circular concave spot below each dorsol lateral protuberances,and the tip of mandibules downwards which may be easily distinguished from all the species hitherto found in China.Type locality:Xichang County(27°N,102°E)Soldiers(holotype and paratype)and nymphs from type
