中国近代经典扫盲教材《平民千字课》述论

摘　　要：《平民千字课》起源于一战时期晏阳初等人对在法华工进行的扫盲教育活动,后来又经过平教会的多次整理改编而渐趋成熟和完善。由于其体例严谨而又不失灵活,特别是在生字的选择方面颇具创新性,全书内容丰富且难易适中,比较切合底层读者的文化水平和实际需求。因此,《平民千字课》在当时的扫盲教育中产生了很大影响,成为近代中国最具代表性的扫盲教材。The Thousand Characters Lesson for Common People originated from the literacy education activities carried out by Yan Yangchu and others on the Chinese workers in France during the First World War. Later, it has gradually become mature and perfected after several adjustments and adaptations by the Chinese Civilian Education Promotion Association. Because of its rigorous style and flexibility, it is especially creative in the selection of new words. The book is rich in content and moderate in difficulty, which is more in line with readers’ cultural level and actual needs.Therefore, the Thousand Characters Course for Common People had a great influence on literacy education at that time and became the most representative classic literacy textbook during the Republic of China.
