摘  要:代际流动是决定社会变迁和不平等演进的关键因素。过往研究中常用的度量代际流动性的指标具有组间不可比、精确度低等问题,本文采用新构造的指数研究了中国教育代际流动性的跨期变化和跨地区差异,发现我国教育代际流动性呈现出在改革开放之前上升、之后下降的特征,且这一变化在省份之间存在显著差异。此外,教育代际流动性在(同一省份的)不同地级市之间存在较大差异,总体而言经济发展水平越高的地级市代际流动性越好。并且,地级市层面的代际流动性和不平等程度之间呈现显著的负相关关系。Intergenerational mobility is a key factor determining social changes and long-term inequality.However,intergenerational mobility indexes are used in previous studies cannot be compared across groups and are often measured imprecisely.This paper studies the intertemporal changes and inter-regional differences of China's intergenerational education mobility.Drawing on a new intergenerational mobility index developed in existing literature,we find that China's intergenerational education mobility increased before the economic reform but decreased afterwards and that this change is significantly different across provincial regions.Moreover,intergenerational education mobility varies greatly across prefectures within the same province.General-ly,the prefecture-level intergenerational education mobility is positively correlated with economic development and negatively correlated with inequality.
