摘　　要：On Jan.19,Wuhan Zoo welcomed twonew"residents"from Africa mongooses,small cavedwelling mammals native to the desert areas in South Africa.The feeding team carefully decorated their house in advance."Because mongooses are skilled in digging holes,we spread a thick layer of sandy soil on the floor,used shredded bark as the carpet,and set up waste building pipes as props for them to play,"said Luo Zhengquan from the zoo.
