摘　　要：长期以来,琼州海峡轮渡运输扮演着大陆与海南岛之间人员和物资运输交流纽带的作用,随着海南自由贸易试验区正式成立,这一国家战略的实施将促进海南自贸区经济社会及交通等各方面深刻变革,而湛江港是我国西南沿海港口群的龙头港,西部陆海新通道的主要出海口之一,是祖国大陆对接海南自贸港陆岛交通的桥头堡,湛江港主要港区雷州港尚未形成水铁联运的陆上后方运输通道,粤海铁路乌石支线的建设必要性需尽快论证。For a long time,Qiongzhou Strait ferry transport has played the role of a link between the mainland and Hainan Island in personnel and material transport.With the formal establishment of the Hainan Free Trade Zone,the implementation of this national strategy will promote profound changes in the economic,social,and transportation aspects of Hainan Free Trade Zone.Zhanjiang Port is the leading port of China's southwest coastal port group,and one of the main sea ports of the new land and sea channels in the west.It is the bridgehead for the mainland of China to connect with the land island traffic of Hainan Free Trade Port.Leizhou Port,the main port area of Zhanjiang Port,has not yet formed a land rear transport channel for water rail combined transport.The necessity of the construction of the Wushi Branch Line of the Guangdong Hainan Railway needs to be demonstrated as soon as possible.
