摘　　要：康拉德的许多小说都存在着对真实的焦虑。小说中的女性理智上相信真实的存在及达至真实的可能性,但在情感上却不愿面对真实,从而暴露出她们对真实的渴望与焦虑。康拉德特有的叙事策略充分展现出叙事的不可靠性和语言的多义性,使主体始终处于探寻真实的焦虑状态。文章从女人与真实、表象与真实以及叙述与真实三个方面来揭示康拉德小说中蕴含的真实焦虑。这在一定程度上反映了作者的社会态度和价值判断。Many of Conrad’s novels are pervaded by anxiety over the real.The women rationally believe the existence and the availability of the real,but they reluctantly accept it in emotion.This exposes their anxiety as well as the desire towards the real.Conrad’s narrative strategy witnesses the unreliability of narration and the ambiguity of language in the novels that puts the characters forever on the state of anxiety for the real.This article involves the contradictions between the real and women,between the real and phenomenon,and between the real and narration to reveal the anxieties over the real,which,in a sense,reflect Conrad’s attitude towards society and his idea of value.
