双层ePTFE增强复合质子交换膜的结构及性能研究

摘  要:质子交换膜是质子交换膜燃料电池的核心材料。基于全氟磺酸离子交联聚合物(PFSA),采用膨体聚四氟乙烯(ePTFE)多孔膜,制备出双层ePTFE增强型复合质子交换膜。与采用传统的单层ePTFE(ePTFE厚度为20μm)增强的复合膜相比,双层ePTFE增强膜(每层ePTFE厚度为10μm)因其更小的ePTFE单层厚度而更容易被PFSA渗透和填充。研究显示,与单层ePTFE增强膜相比,双层ePTFE增强膜具有更高的质子电导率、拉伸强度以及更低的溶胀率。燃料电池性能方面,双层ePTFE增强膜的峰值功率密度(477 mW/cm^(2))高于单层ePTFE增强膜(335 mW/cm^(2))。为了评估所研制双层ePTFE增强膜的应用价值,本研究将其各项物性参数与商业化增强膜(GORE)进行了对比。Proton exchange membrane(PEM)is a core component of the proton exchange membrane fuel cells(PEMFCs).In this study,a double-layer ePTFE reinforced composite PEM was prepared by intercalating double-layer ePTFE porous reinforced fiber layers into perfluorosulfonic acid(PFSA)ionomer.Compared with the traditional single-layer ePTFE(ePTFE thickness 20μm)reinforced membrane,the double-layer ePTFE reinforced membrane(ePTFE thickness 10μm)possesses shorter ePTFE penetration path in the ePTFE porous layers,which makes it easier for PFSA to infiltrate.Meanwhile,the double-layer ePTFE reinforced membrane shows higher proton conductivity,tensile strength and lower swelling rate.In terms of fuel cell performance,the peak power density(477 mW/cm^(2))of double-layer ePTFE reinforced membrane is higher than that of single-layer ePTFE reinforced mem-brane(335 mW/cm^(2)).To evaluate the application value of the developed double-layer ePTFE reinforced membrane,its physical parameters were compared with that of commercial reinforced membrane(Gore).
