摘　　要：本文回顾了我国著名兽医学家、微生物学家、兽医教育家、中国科学院学部委员盛彤笙先生的生平功绩,缅怀了先生情系祖国、远牧昆仑、无私奉献,在畜牧兽医科学研究、人才培养和发展战略制定等方面的杰出贡献,以期赓续先生的科学精神和学术思想,激励同仁们努力创造无愧于时代的新业绩。This paper reviewed the life and achievements of Mr.SHENG Tongsheng,a famous Chinese veterinarian,microbiologist,veterinary educator and member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences,remembering Mr.SHENG Tongsheng’s love for the motherland,contribution to animal husbandry in northwest China and selfless dedication,and his outstanding contributions in animal husbandry and veterinary talent training,scientific research and development strategy,with a view to continuing Mr.SHENG Tongsheng’s scientific spirit and academic thought,and encouraging colleagues to strive to create new achievements worthy of the times.
