以图画象形文字思维解析《山海经》的怪诞方国

摘　　要：《山海经》以志怪著名,其中的方国名及部分动植物状貌描叙怪诞不经,不可能是现实的真实存在,故《山海经》的真实性一直受到质疑。作者研究认为,《山海经》中关于方国奇异状貌的描述,并不是针对该方国人的样貌的描述,而是针对某种早期图画象形文字本身型貌的描述。作者研究发现,今本《山海经》虽然没有图画或已失传,但其相关文字描述中,包含着典型的早期文字特征:涂色特征、方位使用、文字符号与语言的对应关系不严格以及符号体态带图画性特征等。作者借助东巴图画象形文字的构图思维,成功重构了《山海经》部分描述的图画象形文字。作者进而分析认为,《山海经》早期流传时代经历了文字变革而导致误解。作者提出,以图画象形文字的思维来解读《山海经》描述的妖魔鬼怪,可为研究《山海经》真相及我国早期文字发展过程提供一种新的思路。The book of The Classic of Mountains and Seas is famous for its strange images,in which the names of countries and some animals and plants describe the grotesque,which like demons and ghosts can not be the real existence of reality,and this is the most important reason of the book of The Classic of Mountains and Seas has been questioned.The author conjectures that the descriptions of the countries are not really the appearance of the country people,but the appearance of some early pictographic characters.The author finds that although there are no pictures in this book or it has been lost,there are obvious characteristics of ancient picture characters in the description of its words,such as the color painting,the use of orientation,the lax correspondence between characters and language,and the pictorial features of symbols.With the help of Dongba pictograph and oracle bone inscriptions,the author reconstructs the picture content described in the book of The Classic of Mountains and Seas in the form of pictures to help understand.The author further speculates that the early The Classic of Mountains and Seas may have experienced the transformation of characters in its spreading period,either reorganizing and replacing a more ancient pictographic system with a new symbolic character system,or with another character system,and the description of this ancient pictographic hieroglyph is fortunately preserved in The Classic of Mountains and Seas.The author points out that it may be a new way for us to study The Classic of Mountains and Seas and the development of ancient Chinese characters.
