摘　　要：西部民族地区地处边远、地广人稀、信息落后,制约了文化事业的发展,公共图书馆的各项建设与服务效能提升长期面临着困境,公共图书馆面临事业发展缓慢、公众精神文化需求不能得到及时满足等局面。在文化和旅游融合、“十四五”发展规划建设时期、数字图书馆建设等新理念背景下,西部民族地区公共图书馆既面对压力又面临机会和挑战。该文以内蒙古自治区阿拉善盟图书馆为例就如何提升建设与服务效能进行探讨和研究。Western minority areas are located in the remote,sparse,information backwardness,restricted the development of cultural cause,the public library construction and service efficiency improvement is facing a long-term dilemma,the public library is facing the cause of slow development,the public spiritual and cultural needs can not be timely met and other situations.Under the background of the integration of culture and tourism,the period of the 14th Five-Year Plan and the construction of digital libraries,the public libraries in the western minority regions are facing both pressure and opportunities and challenges.This paper takes the library of Alxa League of Inner Mongolia Region as an example to discuss and study how to improve the construction and service efficiency.
