兄弟姐妹有利于创业吗?——来自中国的微观证据

摘　　要：作为一生中持续交往时间最长的伙伴,兄弟姐妹在个人成长经历、兴趣养成和职业发展过程中扮演着重要角色。然而,现有创业理论一直忽视兄弟姐妹对个人创业活动的作用。通过使用2010—2015年间5期中国综合社会调查(CGSS)和中国家庭追踪调查数据(CFPS),本文从微观层面考察了兄弟姐妹对个人创业的影响。结果表明,兄弟对男性创业活动具有明显的促进作用,而兄弟姐妹对女性创业活动均具有显著的抑制作用。进一步分析显示,同胞间较大的年龄差距,有利于促进男性创业活动的展开。在考虑家庭可能的生育偏好和性别选择后,结论仍然成立。上述结果不仅展示出创业活动中的“兄弟同心,其利断金”,也揭示了兄弟姐妹对女性创业的不利影响。本研究将兄弟姐妹影响经济活动的研究拓展到创业领域,有助于理解兄弟姐妹对创业活动的影响,并丰富创业研究中对家庭的解构与分析。As the longest-lasting partners in a lifetime,siblings play an important role in personal growth experiences,interest and career development.However,existing literatures ignore the siblings'influence on entrepreneurship.By using the CGSS data from 2010 to 2015,this paper evaluates the impact of siblings on entrepreneurship such as self-employed and participation in family entrepreneurship.The results show that men with brothers will significantly increase their entrepreneurial activities,and women with siblings will significantly reduce the probability to start a business.At the same time,the larger age gap between siblings can promote self-employed.After considering the parents'possible gender preferences and selections,the above conclusions are still valid.The above conclu-sions not only show the"If brothers are of the same mind,their sharpness can cut through metal"in the entrepreneurial activities,but also the adverse effects of siblings on women.This study reveals the impact of siblings on economic activities from the perspective of en-trepreneurship,and also expands the deconstruction and analysis of families in entrepre-neurship research.
