摘 要:基于2014年、2016年和2018年中国家庭追踪调查(CFPS)的数据,运用人力资本理论和健康选择论,评估了健康对职业的影响。采用工具变量法修正了面板二项选择模型,结果表明健康并不能帮助劳动者提升职业地位。劳动力市场的体制分割可能是原因所在,体制内和体制外人事变动的逻辑虽有诸多不同,但体制内所参考的多重指标和体制外频繁的工作流动都削弱了健康促进职业发展的效能。Based on 2012, 2014 and 2018 China Family Panel Studies(CFPS), we evaluate effect of health on occupation using human capital theory and health selection theory. In the beginning of human capital theory’s proposal, health is regarded as a kind of human capital, and education improves production efficiency while health prolongs working hours. According to health selection theory, workers in good health are more likely to improve their socioeconomic status. Due to the existence of bidirectional causal relation, test of human capital and health selection theory has to overcome the endogeneity problem. To achieve this goal, we use IV to modify panel binomial choice model. We found that health does not help workers improve their occupational status. The institutional segmentation of the labor market may be responsible, and although there are many differences in the logic of personnel changes within and outside the system, the multiple indicators referenced within the system and the frequent job mobility outside the system have weakened the effectiveness of promotion of career development.
