Sightseeing balloon rises over East Lake

摘　　要：Recently,a large red and white helium balloon above East Lake has become quite a sight for the locals.The balloon is the first to be used for air tourism sightseeing in Central China and is expected to carry its first tourists into the air in mid-to-late December.Located on the big lawn area beside the East Lake Greenway,the balloon is 23 meters in diameter and 6,000 cubic meters in volume.It can accommodate 30 people at once while rising straight up into the air to a maximum of 150meters.Afterreaching its highest level,visitors can overlook the wonderful scenery of East Lake in all directions and view the surrounding urban areas about 10 to 20 kilometers away.
