摘　　要：Origin清明was well--known in ancient China as a solar term,falling on April 4 or 5 every year.It's a time when flowers and trees come alive.Its literal translation is"clear and bright."清明节began as two separate festivals in ancient China.One of them was 寒食节(han shi je,Hanshi Festival or Cold Food Day),the day before modern-day 清明节.
