试论东汉初年的公国

摘　　要：东汉时期曾短暂分封公国。公国虽然存在时间短暂,但也有其发展脉络。公国制度源于《周礼》等书所记载的五等爵制。王莽时期的制度设计为东汉初年公爵分封的实行提供了现成的模式,并为东汉所借鉴。在实际分封过程中,右翊、左翊公国是分原左冯翊之地而建立。建武十七年,诸公爵开始进爵为王。公国消亡的原因,一方面是汉光武帝对郭皇后被废一事的顺势而为,另一方面是汉光武帝借宗庙制度改革表明承继西汉法统的主动之举。In the early Eastern Han Dynasty,the duchy system was briefly enfeoffed.Although it existed for a short time,it also had its own development context.The duchy originated from the system of five ranks of nobility recorded in Zhouli and other books.The system design during the WANG Mang period provided a ready-made model for the implementation of Duchy Enfeoffment in the early Eastern Han Dynasty.In the actual process of enfeoffment,the duchy of Youyi and Zuoyi was established separately from the Zuo Pingyi.In fact,it should be the Youpingyi and Zuopingyi.In the 17th year of Jianwu,the duchies began to be kings.The reason for the demise of the duchy was,on the one hand,due to the Dukes′promotion to Princes and the active influence by the abolition of Queen Guo,which was also the Emperor Guangwu′s active step because he intended to show his inheritance of the Western Han Dynasty′s legally constituted authority through reform of the ancestral temple system.
