摘 要:针对通信行波管卫星上行链路高频率、宽频带、大功率和高线性度的应用特点,开展了Q波段折叠波导通信行波管电子光学和慢波线互作用设计研究。在设计基础上,通过加工零部件进行制管验证,攻克了慢波线加工、装配、焊接工艺和副特性补偿等关键技术,研制出饱和输出功率大于200 W、效率优于38%、线性指标优异的Q波段折叠波导行波管,为类似Q波段通信折叠波导行波管研发提供重要设计参考。Traveling wave tubes(TWTs) for up-linking satellite communications possess the characteristics of high frequency, wide bandwidth, high power and good linearity. Researches on electron optics and beam-wave interaction of a Q-band folded waveguide TWT are carried out. On the basis of design, the key components are processed and the folded waveguide TWT is fabricated after overcoming the difficulties in slow-wave structure manufacturing, assembling, welding process and auxiliary characteristics parameters compensation. The developed Q-band folded waveguide TWT has saturation output power greater than 200 W and efficiency greater than 38% with excellent linear performance. The research provides meaningful references for the development of Q-band folded waveguide TWTs for communications.
