摘 要:从合成孔径雷达(Synthetic Aperture Radar,SAR)图像实时压缩的需求出发,结合实时图像的离散余弦变换(Discrete Cosine Transform,DCT)压缩算法原理,提出了一种基于FPGA的SAR图像压缩的实现方法,在算法上采用两次一维DCT变换,并最终优化成简单的乘加运算,使其适应FPGA处理;在架构上采用图像压缩可配置架构,完成图像尺寸、压缩比等参数的动态配置;硬件上充分利用资源,可以满足大尺寸SAR图像压缩处理。According to the requirement of real-time compression of synthetic aperture radar(SAR) image, combined with the principle of discrete cosine transform(DCT) compression algorithm for real-time image, an implementation method of SAR image compression algorithm based on FPGA is proposed in this paper. In the algorithm, twice one-dimensional DCT transform isadopted, and finally it is optimized into simple multiplication and addition to adapt to FPGA processing. In the architecture, image compression configurable architecture is used to complete the dynamic configuration of image size,compression ratio and other parameters. In the hardware, resources are fully utilized to meet the requirements of large scale SAR image compression processing.
