摘 要:19世纪70年代普法战争爆发,法国印象派的绘画理念与表现技法跟随前往英国避难的画家一起传播到了不列颠。这种前卫且新颖的艺术风格不仅对英国的本土艺术产生了强烈冲击,而且引发了“非利士”批评家与“新批评家”之间关于审美标准问题的争论。本文以19世纪英国艺术批评文本为基础,通过梳理印象派在英国经历的曲折复杂的传播过程,探讨英国艺术批评范式如何从对道德准则的侧重走向形式主义分析。With the outbreak of the Franco-Prussian War in the 1870 s,artistic ideas and techniques of French impressionism were spread to Britain by painters who took refuge in the country.This avant-garde,novel artistic style not only had a strong impact on native art of Britain,but triggered a debate between"philistine"critics and"new critics"on aesthetic standards.On the basis of articles on art criticism of the19 th century in Britain,this paper discusses how the paradigm of British art criticism shifted from focusing on moral standards to analyzing formalism by sorting out the complicated publicity process of impressionism in the country.
