摘  要:为解决溴化镧无法用于实验室外中子探测问题,本文采用理论分析、蒙特卡罗模拟与实验室测量相结合的方法,从微观物理过程入手,分析了中子与溴化镧相互作用类型、反应截面及反应产物。结果表明:可利用中子与溴化镧晶体发生非弹性散射产生的退激γ射线,实现溴化镧探测器直接测量中子。研究成果为溴化镧中子探测奠定了物理基础,也为其用于中子/γ混合辐射场测量提供了前提条件。Theoretical analysis,Monte Carlo simulation,and laboratory measurement are combined in this paper to solve the inapplicability problem of the lanthanum bromide detector for neutron detection outside of the laboratory.Starting from the microscopic physical process,the interaction types,reaction cross-sections,and reaction products of the interaction between neutrons and lanthanum bromide are analyzed.Results show that the neutrons can be directly measured by the lanthanum bromide detector using the de-excitedγ-rays generated by the inelastic scattering of neutrons and lanthanum bromide crystals.The research results lay a physical foundation for lanthanum bromide neutron detection and also provide a prerequisite for its application in neutron/γmixed radiation field measurement.
