摘 要:纸张酸化是图书馆和档案馆藏历史文献保护面临的主要问题。碱性的氨基硅烷偶联剂用于纸张脱酸,可以实现纸质文献的有效保护,并且具有大规模整本脱酸的潜在优势。深入研究硅烷偶联剂和纤维素之间的相互作用,对脱酸剂的设计与脱酸条件的控制有重要意义。通过比较氨基硅烷和烷基硅烷在纸张上的附着情况,表征聚硅烷的结构,研究纸张含水量与溶剂极性对硅烷沉积量的影响,发现硅烷中的氨基基团和纤维素的羟基基团之间的氢键相互作用是硅烷与纤维素之间的主要作用形式。在脱酸过程中,氢键促进了氨基硅烷在纤维素表面的有效附着,同时,空气中的水分可以促进氨基硅烷的水解和自缩合。此外,脱酸处理后纸张的纤维形态、pH值、碱保留量以及耐老化性等结果表明,氨基硅烷偶联剂具有显著的整本脱酸优势。Paper acidification is one of the greatest problems for the conservation of historical documents in libraries and archives.The use of aminoalkylalkoxysilanes has been proposed as an efficient method for mass deacidification of papers.A deep understanding of interaction between silane and cellulose is desirable for the effective design of deacidification processes.By comparing the uptake of aminosilanes and alkylsilanes in paper,characterizing the structures of polysiloxanes,and studying the effect of paper moisture and solvent polarity on the deposit of silane on paper,we found that the hydrogen bond between amino group and cellulose hydroxyl existed as the main interaction between silane and cellulose.During the deacidification process,hydrogen bonds facilitate the effective adsorption of silanes on cellulose,and the hydrolysis and self-condensation of silanes take place with the help of airborne water.Moreover,fiber morphology,pH,alkali reservation,and the aging behavior of papers after aminosilane treatment were studied,indicating the advantages of this aminosilane-based process for mass deacidification.
