Under the background of aging population, the multidimensional relative poverty of the elderly is a hot spot of social concern. It is worth exploring that whether digital inclusive finance can help alleviate the multidimensional relative poverty of the elderly or not in the era of digital economy. Using China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study and the digital inclusive finance index of Peking University, this paper empirically analyze whether digital inclusive finance can alleviate the multidimensional relative poverty of the elderly. The research finds that digital inclusive finance can alleviate the multidimensional relative poverty of the elderly, and the poverty reduction effect varies among individuals, families and regions. Digital Inclusive Finance alleviates the multidimensional relative poverty of the elderly through three channels: easing credit constraints, improving investment and financial management participation, and narrowing the income gap. In view of this, we should continue to promote the development of digital inclusive finance, build an age-friendly digital society, strengthen the digital financial feedback of elderly families, and improve digital financial literacy of the elderly.
